Recognizing Your Commitment
Institutions that have adopted Canvas as their Learning Management System are poised to make significant educational changes. We believe those schools that make the further commitment to having their leaders and educators participate in our Canvas Certified Educator program will be on the forefront of making these significant educational changes through their leadership, mentoring, and teaching practice. By becoming a vibrant community of Canvas Certified Educators, they have made the commitment to strengthening their Canvas use and amplifying instructional practices that are aligned to learning outcomes and student needs. They are actively involved in making the shift from teacher-centered learning to student-centered learning while creating learning experiences in Canvas in ways that would not exist without the use of technology.
What Makes an Institution Eligible for the Canvas Certified Designation
We want to recognize these schools who have made the commitment to create this community of Canvas Certified Educators, and to support them in their journey toward making educational change.
Institutions who have at least 10% of the leadership and teachers in the school who have completed the Canvas Certified Educator program and who have at least one participant in the Canvas Certified Technical Admin program will be eligible to apply for the Canvas Certified Institution designation.
